Thirsties Diaper covers are made of a specialty waterproof fabric that is extremely pliable and comfortable for your baby's delicate skin. Leg gussets provide advanced leak-proof protection and bindings are super soft against baby skin.


The x-small size features an umbilical cut out for your newborn’s comfort and all sizes offer convenient fold-over laundry tabs to protect your hook and loop closures from trapping lint in the wash. The generous cut of Thirsties Diaper Covers offers a superior, waterproof exterior on any type of flat, prefolded, contoured, fitted cloth diaper.


Want to get away with fewer diaper covers in rotation? The laminate that lines the inside of the soft polyester can be wiped clean between uses, and washed in your washer once thoroughly soiled.

Cleaning Instructions

Before laundering, attach Aplix hook and loop to rectangular laundry tab located on inside of cover. This step will help eliminate cover from becoming tangled in wash or dryer and will lengthen the life of your Aplix.


Before first use: Wash once using a cloth diaper safe detergent

At every wash cycle: Prewash on warm, wash on hot, add another rinse on warm. On each cycle, use enough water to soak and cover the diapering items and allow them to agitate.

Hang dry or dry in the dryer on low.


Please avoid the following practices and/or additives that can void the warranty on your Thirsties products:
  • Chlorine or oxygen bleach
  • Sanitize or Whites cycles on HE machines
  • Pure Soap
  • Laundry boosters/additives
  • High heat in the dryer

These practices and/or additives can void the warranty on your Thirsties products. A 15 minute cycle on hot in the dryer once a month is beneficial to lamination, and will not void your warranty.
